This blog is about the trials and tribulations of being a young woman with chronic pain and illnesses. I will talk about not only things going on now, but things that have happened in the past, the constant thoughts I have because of being a pain patient, and the stresses of living life day to day like this. My hope is that it will help other pain patients see they aren't alone, especially those who are in their early to mid twenties like me.

Oh this pain
Days like these are when I really wish I wasn't a pain patient. I am in so much pain it's not even funny. I managed to finished a good portion of the Save the Dates but I am dying after it.
Hi Emi, came across your blog on Facebook. Just wanted to know for how long you have suffered from chronic pain, and what you have that causes it? I ask because I am curious to learn about people on painkillers that are highly addictive; Darvon is the one that's been in the news lately- don't know if you've seen what's been going on. in case you haven't: http://www.newsinferno.com/pharmaceuticals/darvon-darvocet-dangers-prompted-action-by-pharmacists-years-before-recall/ Rachel.
If you go to the very beginning of the blog, you'll see all of my disorders, but my main reason for chronic pain is fibromyalgia. I'm not really on any pain killers that are addictive. I stay away from that stuff as best I can. It's once in a blue moon that I give in and take one of the vicodin the emergency room gave me a while ago. I never want to become an addict.
